The history of the development of the Oxford Dicitonary for the English language is a fascinating story and well told by Simon Winchester. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the development of the English language, the OED and I also highly recommend it to managers in information management - there are hidden gems here of lessons learned here that can be applied to 21st century issues in portfolio, program and project management!
